Once a spot becomes available in your area, we then need to meet one another. We do this through a meet and greet at your home. This will be with Jesse our top dog handler and co-owner of Pucci. Alongside Jesse will be our personal dog Lace, who is also part of the meet and greet process. Lace is a 3 year old, female working line German Shepherd. She is great with people and dogs big and small. At the meet and greet Jesse will get to know you both and answer any questions you may have. Once Jesse has accessed that your pooch is the right fit for Pucci, we can then move onto the next steps of the enrollment process. These are held on a Monday between 11am-12pm at your home. Please note that we normally have a waiting list for these.

We do not provide on site tours to non-Pucci customers due to the privacy of our personal home as we have quite a unique set up and due to health and safety policies.  We have a lot of videos on our social media platforms and we hope that this will give you a sense of Pucci and our set up. Along with "live" instagram feeds daily. We also have a Pucci tour video in the above tabs that shows "A day in the life of Pucci" here you will see how our service works along with our set up the we provide for our pooches to thrive in. 

Due to the structure of our daycare all our pooches must attend Pucci at least once a week on a permanent basis. This is so that we can run an efficient and safe service for your pooches to thrive in.  All pooches who attend Pucci will be trained and taught our Pucci "etiquette", covering life skills such as, sit, down, stay, come, wait, leave, and slowly. All under the safe guidance of our handlers. 

All new enrollments must be able to be collected from their home. Under some special circumstances we can do work pick ups under certain criteria's. Due to the bus service that we run, we currently only take new enrollments from the areas listed below.
Lower Hutt, Western Hills, Petone, Eastbourne, Wainui, Moera, Seaview, Woburn, Waiwhetu, Fairfield, Epuni, Naenae, Taita and Stokes Valley.

In order for your pooch to enroll they must fit the below criteria:

• All pooches must be fully vaccinated and have a current vaccination certificate in order to join Pucci. Please ensure this is uploaded in the enrolment form 

• All pooches must be flea and wormed on a regular basis.

• All pooches must be spayed or neutered passed a certain age. We cannot take entire females or males past the age of 8 months old due to health and safety policies. 

• All pooches attending must be socialised. (if past 5 months of age)

• All pooches attending must NOT show any aggression or carry any aggressive traits.

• All dogs must be registered. (tags do not need to come along with them as they often fall off)

• Does not have any serious medical conditions.

• Senior dogs may not enjoy our services so we will give you our honest advice if you have an older pooch on whether this service would be suitable.

• Can travel well.

• Can cope travelling with other pooches.

• Your pooch will attend on a permanent basis, at least once a week (we do not take casual or fortnightly bookings)

• Your pooch does not/or will not be attend another daycare while attending Pucci. 

• We can access your pooch from your home in a safe manner.

• Can collect your pooch in a contactless manner.

• Some breeds do not do well in a daycare environment, if we think your pooch may not benefit from our services please do not feel offended.
